St Luke’s Hospice Cheshire offers a wide range of services to support people living with life-limiting illnesses in mid and south Cheshire.. Since 1988, St Luke’s has been providing palliative care to local people, supporting them in ways which go beyond the scope and funding of the NHS. Last year St Luke’s Cheshire Hospice supported over 1,000 local people with a vast range of support from end-of-life care on their ward to supporting carers, and from helping children cope with grief to assisting patients to return to work after an illness.
The charity was established following a fundraising campaign in the mid 1980’s which local people championed, and 35 years later St Luke’s continue to be supported in this way. Nearly 85% of the care provided is funded by donations.
We are proud to support the Girl Power that is Crewe Under 15’s.
Playing in the Cheshire Girls Football League, some of the girls have been with the club since 2020 and the team has been in existence in its current form for 2 seasons now.
Currently they have a squad of 14 fantastic girls.
So far this season they have had a tough start to the league campaign, having played last years league champions and two other strong teams that are currently 1st an 2nd in the league. These were all close games, but unfortunately, they fell to defeat in these matches.
They are always on the lookout for new players and anyone interested in joining this fabulous group of girls can get in touch with the club via their social media channels.
